Let's see, I'm an Austinite of almost two decades, a Texas Longhorn, dog mom, human mom, introvert, coffee addict and lake rat. My photography journey began in high school on the yearbook committee, but I didn't get serious about it until my younger child was about two. I learned that sometimes you can take a photo of someone, especially a child, and see their soul in that photo- that's my baby in the bathtub, and this remains my favorite photo I've ever taken because when I look at it, I can see HER. Creating these images is my passion; for a parent, these are absolutely priceless.

I am OBSESSED with newborns and their perfection and with the exhausted, happy, bewildered, uncertain-but-certain energy of a brand new family. I love the sweet, slow pace of a newborn session. That said, my babies aren't babies anymore and I have a blast capturing the boundless energy of kiddos too. I just love the balance that photographing both newborns and young kids brings.
