Newborn Photo Sessions
The first few days with a new baby are unlike anything else. They’re magical, exhausting, breathtaking and blurry.
This new tiny human changes so quickly you can almost see it happen before your very eyes!
This baby will settle into your home, your family, and that is why I love keeping newborn sessions slow, quiet and comfortable in your own home with pets, older siblings, and all your favorite things surrounding you.
My goal with newborn sessions is to document this moment in time for your family with natural, relaxed, genuine, beautiful images.
In-home newborn sessions include portraits of the baby, tons of family snuggle photos, nursery photos, and of course, older sibling moments. This is often the most challenging part, as welcoming a new baby into the family can be very overwhelming for kids. If you have an older toddler or child, rest assured that I understand the challenge completely and will make it my goal to gain their trust.
Sessions revolve around the needs of the baby and your family- plenty of time is allowed for feeding, changing and soothing. I love awake babies and I love sleeping babies! I always hope to capture some of each, but not at the expense of baby or parents’ comfort.
